Steamed Meatloaf

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup of dry white rice
  • 2 tablespoons onion (chopped finely)
  • 1 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice(instead of salt, although you can add some salt if you want)


  1. Mix it all together.
  2. Form it into a “loaf”
  3. Place in the steamer. (rice cooker or stovetop steamer, the same kind you use to steam broccoli)
  4. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for around 45 minutes or until cooked.
